Biathlon blends the challenge of cross-country skate skiing and rifle marksmanship into a unique and engaging sport.
I competed in my first Biathlon competition November 2015 and immediately was hooked!

NORDIC SKI
I have been a member of Ski and Snowboard Club Vail since I was 8 years old. I competed alpine for several years before switching to Nordic. Now I don’t even buy a ski pass to Vail because I love cross country skiing so much! Our Nordic team trains together all summer and into fall before race season.
This year I am a Senior at Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy. During the winter, this unique school allows me to train in the mornings and attend class into late afternoon. I plan to continue skiing in college to maintain discipline and focus while exploring my academic passions. I also look forward to traveling to many new race venues!
ORIGAMI
The word “origami” comes from the Japanese language. “Ori” means folded and “gami” means paper.
I’ve been folding for many years. While I like its artistic nature I have really enjoyed learning how origami principles are applied to science and space.
